UN in Serbia and the O3one Gallery announce a competition for muralists and street artists on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the UN
08 October 2020
The topic of the competition coincides with issues that are most relevant for the citizens of Serbia, as identified in UN75 consultations with citizens.
On the occasion of the UN 75th anniversary, UN Country Team in Serbia and the O3one Gallery are announcing a competition for artists to paint mural at the UN House in Belgrade. The theme of the competition coincides with the official theme of the UN 75th anniversary "Shaping our Future Together". For the people in Serbia, according to the UN75 survey, environmental protection and climate change are the most important issues that should be addressed through international cooperation; increasing solidarity and improving universal access to health care are some of the main priorities.
As we want to emphasize the importance of these topics for all people in Serbia, and as a sign of gratitude to everyone for participating in the global consultations, we decided to paint these voices on the largest wall of the UN House in Serbia.
The theme of the competition is Planet Earth is Our Home. The topic should be localized to Serbia, with references to the natural, cultural and richness of communities in Serbia.
