Drivers of Change

This publication summarises the main results and impressions of the key stakeholders who have, together with UNOPS Serbia Multi-Country Office, participated in the implementation of the Programme “Enhancing Good Governance and Social Inclusion for Municipal Development – Swiss PRO”.

Through improved local governance, increased social inclusion, and strengthened gender equality at the local level, Programme achievements enhanced the quality of life for approximately 60,000 Serbian citizens, particularly those from vulnerable groups.

Programme is supported by the Swiss Government in cooperation with the Government of Serbia and implemented by UNOPS in partnership with the Standing Conference of Towns and Municipalities in 99 local self-governments in Sumadija, western, eastern and southern Serbia in the period from January 2018 to November 2022.
